Conceal Dental damage with Veneers
Do you have unsightly chips or cracks in your enamel? If these marks are visible when you speak, it can greatly affect your self-confidence. Drs. Janie Busk and Ryan Busk can offer porcelain veneers to shield these teeth from view, giving the wearers an intact, bright smile.
What Are Veneers?
A porcelain veneer is a thin shell of ceramic that looks like natural enamel and is made to hide a chipped or otherwise damaged tooth. The materials used to create porcelain veneers are durable and stronger than real teeth. They can even reflect light in the same manner as unaltered teeth do so that a cosmetically enhanced tooth is indistinguishable from the rest. Dr. Ryan Busk or Dr. Janie Busk can permanently place porcelain veneers to revitalize your smile.
The Process
You’ll come to our office for an initial examination. During this appointment, we’ll take careful notes on the size, shape, and general coloring of other teeth in your smile. These records will be sent to the licensed dental ceramist who will craft your porcelain veneers so that your restoration can be made to blend well with your smile. When we receive your order, we’ll call you back to the office so that we can place your porcelain veneers.
A member of the team will shade a dental composite to match your enamel and use this to permanently attach your porcelain veneers. People who have veneers are able to eat and drink normally because they are made to last.
Veneers are resistant to stains and won’t darken over time as normal teeth can. If you were considering also having your teeth professionally whitened, please ask about this service prior to or during your first consultation with us. This way, your veneers can be created to match your brightened look.
