At Your First Invisalign Appointment

Drs. Busk will evaluate you during the initial exam to learn if you qualify for this orthodontic therapy. If you would make a good candidate for Invisalign, we will take detailed measurements of your teeth, mouth, and jaw to send to the Invisalign makers.

They’ll use these notes to create your customized Invisalign trays. Once we receive your order, you can begin to improve your alignment.

 

How Long Does Invisalign Take?

Invisalign trays are worn each day and night and are only taken out to eat, brush, and floss. It’s vital that you wear the orthodontic alignment tray when you sleep because it will prevent teeth from shifting back into their original position.

You’ll upgrade to a new tray about every two weeks as your teeth respond to the treatment. The estimated time it will take to complete is unique to each patient, but optimal results can generally be achieved in about one year.
