Meet Dr. Janie Busk
I grew up in Yakima, WA, attended the University of Puget Sound after high school, and went on to dental school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.
As a child, I went to a friendly, light-hearted dentist who made the experience fun. As a result, I actually looked forward to dental appointments. It's my mission to provide a fun and caring environment where our patients feel the same way.
Oral health effects many facets of our overall health, and can also have a major impact on self-esteem. I feel that having a healthy smile is one of the best gifts we can give ourselves and I love helping people achieve their version of a perfect smile.
Education
Following dental school, I completed an advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) residency through the University of Washington. During this program, I collaborated on complex treatment cases with some of Washington's most experienced and respected clinicians.
I met great dentists who have become lifelong mentors and friends. After I completed my residency program, Ryan and I got married, moved to Omak and worked together at Family Health Centers treating Okanogan County’s most vulnerable underserved families.
While there we became affiliate faculty with the University of Washington, mentoring students from the University during their four-month senior externship rotations in our clinic.
Personal Life
I am so happy to be settled back in Eastern Washington (Wenatchee), close to family and surroundings that I love! I am the proud mom of Jack William and Natalie Anne and am very much looking forward to raising them here in the Wenatchee Valley.
